Wobbles the Clown is a very funny rhyming picture-book about the comical mishaps of our favourite clown. Your children will laugh out loud at the ridiculous predicaments Wobbles finds himself in as he wobbles his way to Alice and Ben’s party. Will he make it in time? With his trusty dog Fido at his side . .
. he just might!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Graeme Denton, as an author, is well qualified to write about the antics of Wobbles the Clown. Why? Because when the weekend comes around, Graeme becomes Wobbles the Clown, and South Australian children have been laughing at the real life Wobbles for over ten years.
To have Wobbles the Clown come to your special event
please contact Wobbles.
Graeme is also a qualified junior primary teacher with a keen interest in early literacy development. He particularly values the role of rhyming texts in the development of children’s phonemic awareness and for stimulating their interest in books generally.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Paul Duff is a cartoonist of over thirty years experience who finds it amazing that people are willing to pay him to do his hobby. Paul has illustrated countless publications for many of Australia’s blue chip organisations and is recognised as one of Australia’s leading live caricature artists. Many thousands of children have laughed their way through his cartooning workshops in Australia and overseas. In his other life, Paul has also been educating primary school children (his ‘Dufflets’) for over thirty years. (Just don’t tell your kids this book was illustrated by a teacher!)
